Lobera - Precision Intelligence to Safeguard Sovereignty in the Age of Information Warfare
Lobera was founded in Madrid and Salamanca in early 2025 by a small, determined team of engineers with deep expertise in artificial intelligence, data engineering, telecommunications, and strategic studies. But the idea behind Lobera was forged long before—shaped by the professional journeys of its founders. Their careers began in leading defense institutions, working on classified R&D programs and advising strategic sectors across both civilian and military domains.
As the world digitized, they witnessed how the foundations of our societies—knowledge, infrastructure, and power—migrated into digital systems. This transformation brought resilience and growth, but also a new kind of vulnerability: systemic, permanent, and often invisible.
They quickly recognized a strategic gap. In a reality defined by information warfare, every node—companies, governments, critical infrastructure—becomes a target. Yet, the private sector struggled with fragmented, reactive cybersecurity tools, while traditional defense remained confined to legacy domains. Europe, and particularly Spain, lacked organizations capable of bridging this divide.
Lobera was created to fill that space. Our mission is to build precision intelligence systems that defend sovereignty in the information age. We connect defense-grade AI with the needs of strategic enterprises and public institutions, forging a new model of collective digital defense.
Our name carries this conviction. Lobera was the sword of King Ferdinand III—used to reclaim sovereign territory and now symbolizing unity and resilience. Ferdinand is also the patron saint of the Army Corps of Engineers in Spain, whose legacy we honor by building the next generation of defense systems—not with steel, but with intelligence.
